Process Optimization - Automotive Industry

Project for expansion and design of a new factory layout in order to accommodate the new machines and ensure a rational flow of material. A study of material flows was developed, taking into account the product families, weights, packages, production volume and storage capacity in the cells. A Modular Data Centers é uma empresa nova, com pouco mais de um ano, mas com um crescimento muito rápido. Nesse crescimento rápido, estamos na expansão de uma quarta planta, para a qual tivemos necessidade de procurar ajuda. O Grupo Engenho nos ajudou a definir todo o fluxo produtivo e layout das nossas plantas 3 e 4. Quando o Grupo Engenho chegou aqui, logo nos primeiros contatos, eles já se dispuseram a fazer um trabalho especial e, na prática, foi isso que eles fizeram. Eles nos conheceram, conheceram nosso produto, nossa cultura e, com base nisso, nos fizeram uma proposta para que pudéssemos fazer esse produto, que é novo e inovador, de uma forma também diferente, economizando tempo do ciclo no chão de fábrica, na linha de produção, o que seria muito importante para nós. Eu só tenho a agradecer ao time todo da Engenho, que nos ajudou, dentro de pouquíssimo tempo e com muitos desafios, a inaugurar dentro de seis meses a nossa planta nova.

In January and February/16 we had the opportunity to work with the Grupo Engenho in which, firstly, training was given to the Operations Managers, training with Leaders and members of the operation support areas with the Lean Board Game and, in February, a Kaizen event with 5 Projects. The experience was incredible and the participants were very satisfied with all the material and experience exchanged, as the Lean Board Game breaks paradigms of theoretical training in the classroom, making employees simulate everyday situations and verify the results. With this, it was possible to spread the Lean Culture, allowing everyone to work together and with greater efficiency.
